African Business Investment facilitates financing and supports growth oriented Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) national and cross-border expansion in Africa.
About Us
Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are the engine of growth and the primary vector of change for aggregate value creation in an economy. MSME investing focuses on poverty alleviation for the base pyramid population through profitable small scale entrepreneurial activities.
Many developing countries lack a vibrant MSME sector and consequently, a growing middle income population. MSMEs in Africa suffer from insufficient access to financing, preventing them from expanding their production and making a larger social and economic impact.
We provide investment opportunities to micro, small and medium enterprises looking to expand across in-country regions and intra-Africa. It is essential that MSMEs located in limited local markets must have a global outlook to improve their growth opportunities. In partnership and with the support of our local or in-country Business Support Partners, we support the MSMEs on their expansion journey.
How We Do It
In partnership with MSMEs, investors and partner service providers we offer bespoke support services that enables MSMEs growth to new cross border markets. This could be growth into other national regions or other African countries. We would be open to supporting growth into other regions other than Africa as long as there is evidence of demand for the products or services. We invest in growing MSMEs' manufacturing and distribution capacity while providing entrepreneurial, technical and managerial extertise.
Through our standalone Network, we offer tailored training, mentorship, coaching and partnership engagement events that provide endless business and individual growth opportunities. We capitalise on the depth and breadth of our talented stakeholders to create a business growth hub of excellence and prosperity. We achieve this through our five goals:
