African Business Trade Engagement Platform (ABTEP) is the brain child of the African Business Investment Network which was conceptualised to facilitate African Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) trade expansion through networking. It then became apparent that networking on its own was not transformative and ABTEP was born.
ABTEP provides pre-export capacity building, sustainable and accessible learning and accelerates SME-driven intra-Africa connectivity and integration through community engagement. This empowers SMEs to leverage the unfolding lucrative trade opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and compete on a global scale.
